The Gore-Tex membrane kept my feet perfectly dry through a muddy morning run, which was my biggest concern. The new outsole rubber feels grippy on wet rocks without being too stiff underfoot.

Finally, a trail shoe that keeps my feet dry without feeling like a plastic bag—the Gore-Tex membrane is a game-changer on dewy morning runs. The new outsole grips surprisingly well on loose gravel, though I wish the laces were slightly longer for a double knot.

I've been running on wet roots and slick granite with these and the Gore-Tex membrane kept my feet completely dry. The updated outsole design gives me way more confidence on technical descents than my old pair did.
