Crossridge EVO Shell Jacket Women's

The EvoShell fabric feels surprisingly durable yet flexible, and the 3-layer construction handled a wet spring day without any clamminess. Pit zips would be a nice addition for high-exertion climbs, but overall it's a solid shell for the backcountry.

I was worried it might be stiff for skinning uphill, but the articulation in the shoulders lets me move freely without binding. The 3-layer construction has shed sleet and spindrift on recent tours without any wetting out. Feels like a solid shell that'll last many seasons.

The recycled fabric feels surprisingly durable yet not stiff, and the 3-layer construction kept me perfectly dry through a sudden spring squall on the ridge. I love that the cuffs are easy to adjust even with thick gloves on.
