The magnetic closure actually keeps the chalk in the bag instead of all over my car, which was a problem with my old pot. The recycled fabric feels burly enough to survive getting dragged up a chimney. Chalking up one-handed at the base of a problem is way easier now.

The wide opening makes it so much easier to dig my whole hand in for a re-chalk mid-route. The recycled Robic fabric has held up fine against being tossed in the dirt at the crag all season.

The wide opening makes it easy to jam my whole hand in and grab a decent handful on a route, which I appreciate on longer problems. Only gripe is the Robic fabric feels a bit stiff at first, but it's breaking in fine after a few sessions.
