I was hesitant at first, but the burly lugs really bite into loose gravel and mud without slipping. The adaptable fit lets me wear them for long days without hot spots. These are the most confident I've felt on technical terrain in years.

The FriXion rubber on these is grippy as hell, even on wet rock slabs—felt totally secure scrambling up a loose ridge. Laced them up snug and they hugged my foot perfectly over a long, technical descent.

The burly lugs dig into soft trail so well that I felt way more confident on steep descents than with my old shoes. The adaptable fit hugged my foot securely without feeling restrictive, even on long runs. Really impressed with how they handle technical terrain.
