The extended edge on these skis gave me way more confidence than I expected on the icy, exposed ridge traverse. They feel solid and precise underfoot, exactly what I needed for a big backcountry day.

Finally got these on some steep, wind-blasted couloirs and the extended edge really dug in when I needed it most. They feel noticeably more stable than my old setup on sketchy, icy traverses. Exactly what I was hoping for in a dedicated backcountry ski.

I was skeptical about the edge hold on icy traverses, but this ski bites in exactly where I need it. The extended effective edge makes a real difference when you're picking your way down a steep, wind-scoured face.
