The locking lever feels sturdier than the original, and it’s made a huge difference in how smoothly I switch between walk and ski modes on my boots.

The mechanism clicks into place cleanly on both boots, and the lever feels solid when toggling between modes. It took about ten minutes to swap out the old one, and now the walk mode engages without any play. Glad I grabbed this spare before a season of touring.

I was relieved that this replacement mechanism fit perfectly into my existing boot without any extra adjustments. The walk mode lever feels solid and locks into place with a satisfying click. Exactly what I needed to get my old pair back in action.
