The extra rubber over the toe box makes toe hooks feel way more secure than my old pair, and I noticed it immediately on my first overhang session. The tapered heel also sits so much better on my foot, no dead space at all.

The softer midsole really shines on steep overhangs where I need to pull with my toes instead of just standing on tiny edges. That tapered heel also hooks way better than the blocky one on my old pair. Broke them in over two sessions and they already feel like they were made for my feet.

The extra rubber over the toe box makes a real difference on steep, gritty problems where I'm dragging my foot up the wall. Softer than the original too, which I actually prefer for smearing.
