Stratos VI

I was skeptical about how light they’d feel on the ascent, but the carbon-reinforced sole really delivers on efficiency without sacrificing control on the descent.

The buckle system is surprisingly easy to adjust even with thick gloves on, which saves me time at transitions. I’ve already shaved minutes off my skin track pace without losing any downhill control.

The walk mechanism on these boots is incredibly smooth—I can switch from climbing to descent mode without breaking stride. They’re noticeably lighter than my old pair, which made a real difference on a 14-peak traverse last weekend. Definitely dialed in for efficient touring.
