The ankle support on these is exactly what I needed for the rocky switchbacks last weekend—my feet never slid once, even on loose scree. The mid-cut design felt locked in from the first step, and they've already handled a muddy hut-to-hut stretch without a single blister.

The traction on these is outstanding—I felt completely locked in scrambling over loose scree. They were comfortable right out of the box for a full day of hut-to-hut hiking.

Put these on for a scrambling day in the Dolomites and felt totally planted on loose scree. The mid-top gives just enough ankle support without feeling stiff, and they handled the via ferrata sections with zero slipping. Best boots I've had for hut-to-hut travel.
