The range of motion on these boots is fantastic for skinning up steep approaches, and they lock down tight enough that I feel confident charging through variable snow on the descent.

I’ve taken these boots on three deep-powder days and the range of motion for the ascent is impressive—no ankle binding at all. The stiffness really locks in on the downhill, giving me confidence carving through crud.

I was worried about comfort on long tours, but these boots feel broken-in right out of the box. The rigid downhill performance is incredible when I drop into a steep line, yet the range of motion for skinning is surprisingly generous.
