Helixir 3L Shell Pants Women's

These held up on a soggy hike where my old shells always soaked through at the shoulders, but the membrane on this one kept me totally dry. The Spectra fabric feels burly enough to brush past branches without snagging, and I never felt restricted climbing over blowdowns.

Wore these through a full day of wet brush and stayed completely dry — the 3-layer membrane really holds up. The articulated knees make high steps feel easy, no restriction at all. Easily the most technical shell pants I've owned.

These held up perfectly through three hours of sleet on an exposed scramble and I stayed completely dry underneath. The Spectra membrane feels stiff at first but it moves with you once you're climbing.
