First run this morning in freezing drizzle and the BOA dial made adjustments effortless even with thick gloves on. My feet stayed surprisingly warm without overheating during the climb. The sole's traction on hard-packed snow felt planted and secure.

The grip on icy, packed trails is unreal—I never once slipped on my morning loop even with frost on the ground. The vegan upper kept my feet dry through slushy puddles, and the BOA dial made adjustments quick while wearing thick gloves.

The BOA fit system is a game-changer for adjusting on the fly with gloves on, and the Gore-Tex kept my feet completely dry through wet leaves. My only minor gripe is that the tread could be slightly more aggressive on packed snow.
