I was shocked at how light this jacket is when I first picked it up — the three-layer shell feels fragile but held up perfectly through a sudden downpour. It packs down to almost nothing in my bag, which is exactly what I needed for travel.

Packs down so small it disappears into my daypack, which is exactly what I needed for unpredictable spring hikes. The three-layer shell held up fine in a solid downpour, though I wish the hood had a bit more structure to keep it off my face in wind. Still, for the weight, it's tough to beat.
