The Polartec® fabric is noticeably warmer and more breathable than the cheap nylon ones I've tried before, and it fits snugly around my shoe without any bunching. I've worn it through slush and snow on three runs now with zero debris getting inside.

Finally, a gaiter that actually stays put during a slushy run – the Polartec material is stretchy but snug, so no slipping. Kept my feet bone-dry and mud-free even on the messiest trails. This thing is exactly what I needed for winter training.
