Wore these for a snowy trail run and my legs stayed warm without that clammy feeling — the merino really does move sweat away. The 3D knit is thicker around the knees and thinner behind them, which sounds fussy but you feel it on long climbs. Tight enough to layer under shorts, no bunching.

I was skeptical about merino for sweaty winter hikes, but the 3D knit really does move moisture fast. Zero itch, no swampy feeling even after two hours uphill.
