Took these out on a rocky trail and the Gore-Tex Surround kept my feet dry without making them sweat. The nubuck leather upper is already breaking in nicely, and they feel supportive on uneven ground.

First long hike in the rain and my feet stayed completely dry, yet I never felt clammy or overheated—that breathability is real. The nubuck leather feels tough enough for rocky trails but broke in quicker than I expected. Solid mid-duty boot for weekend backpacking.

I've worn these on several rocky trails and the nubuck leather upper shows almost no scuffing. The Gore-Tex Surround really does make a difference—my feet feel less clammy than with my old boots, even after a long hike. They were comfortable right out of the box with no real break-in period needed.
