Finally, a boot that balances stiffness for edging with enough flex for scrambling. The Gore-Tex liner kept my feet dry through unexpected stream crossings on a long glacier approach.

I took these on a technical alpine route and was impressed by how the Gore-Tex lining kept my feet bone-dry while crossing slushy snowfields. The fit locked my heel in place even when scrambling up steep rock steps.

The Gore-Tex lining kept my feet bone-dry through a surprise snowfield crossing, and the stiff sole gave me confidence on loose scree. I’ve never had a boot this supportive right out of the box.
