Wore these for a full day of climbing and the flat waistband never dug in under my harness, which is honestly rare. The brush pocket sits right where I can reach it without looking.

The phone pocket is deep enough that my iPhone doesn't shift around when I'm climbing, and the brush pocket is exactly where my hand reaches. Waistband adjusts without any bunching, which is the whole reason I bought these. Wore them three days straight on a trip and never once thought about them.

The flat waistband sits perfectly under my harness without any bunching, which was my main gripe with my old work pants. The brush pocket is right where I can reach it without looking down.
