TX4 EVO Mid GTX

I've been wanting a leather approach boot I could actually resole instead of trashing every two seasons, and this one delivers. The grip on wet granite is solid and the mid cut gives my ankles enough support on scree without feeling stiff.

Took these on a rocky scramble right out of the box and the grip on wet slabs was honestly surprising—no slipping even on loose gravel. The recycled upper feels sturdy but broke in fast, and the mid-cut support saved my ankles on a few awkward moves. They’re my new go-to for any technical approach.

I’d been relying on a pair of trail runners for rocky terrain, but the extra ankle support on these mid boots makes scrambling feel way more secure. The recycled materials are a nice bonus, and the grip on wet slabs hasn’t let me down once over a dozen outings.
