Bushido III GTX

Finally found a trail shoe that keeps my feet dry through creek crossings without feeling like plastic bags. The Gore-Tex membrane is surprisingly breathable—my feet weren’t sweaty after a humid 10k. And the new outsole rubber actually gripped loose gravel better than my old pair.

Took these on a sloppy morning trail run through wet grass and puddles, and the new outsole gripped surprisingly well on slick rocks. The updated rubber compound feels more durable than my last pair, plus they dried out fast after I hosed them off.

The Gore-Tex membrane kept my feet bone-dry through a creek crossing and muddy descent—perfect for wet conditions. These are noticeably lighter than the previous version without sacrificing any of the stability I rely on for technical terrain.
