Wore these on a wet, windy ridge climb last weekend and stayed completely dry the whole day. The GORE-TEX ePE membrane actually breathes, so I wasn't swimming in sweat on the uphill.

I sized up for layering and the ePE membrane kept me bone-dry during a surprise hailstorm halfway up the couloir. Still managed to move freely without that clammy feeling on the descent.

The waterproofing held up perfectly through a traverse over wet talus and a gritty snowfield, and I never felt clammy on the switchbacks up. The ePE membrane is noticeably lighter than my old hardshells too, which made a real difference on the long approach.
