The outsole grip on these is unreal—I felt completely locked in scrambling over loose rocks and wet roots, and they drained well after a creek crossing. Ten years of design polish really shows in how balanced they feel on steep descents.

I was a bit worried about the weight, but they feel incredibly light on the foot while still giving that solid, locked-in feel. The grip on loose gravel was just as good as on hardpack.

The grip on wet rock was incredible right out of the box — I felt totally locked in on a steep, loose descent. Fit is snug but not tight, with just enough room in the toe box for technical scrambling.
