Wore these on a three-pitch route last weekend and the cuff drawstrings kept everything out of my approach shoes on the hike in. The harness-compatible pockets actually hold a snack and my phone without bouncing around on the wall.

Wore these on a three-day wall and the abrasion panels actually saved my knees on the granite. The harness-compatible pockets sit right where my leg loops are, so grabbing a snack mid-pitch doesn't turn into a wrestling match. Drawstrings at the cuff keep them from flapping when I'm heel hooking.
