The two-strap closure locks my heel in way better than my old velcro pair, no slipping on tiny edges anymore. Wore them for a full session of bouldering and my toes weren't screaming by the end.

These shoes really shine on steep overhangs where I need to trust my toes on tiny edges. I've worn them on everything from sandstone to granite and they've stayed supportive without losing that precise, aggressive feel.

I was worried these would feel too aggressive for slabby granite, but the downturn actually keeps my toes engaged on tiny edges without killing my feet. The two-strap closure is easy to crank down one-handed at the crag.
