The leather uppers have already taken a few scrapes against granite without showing much damage, and the grip on wet slabs is honestly confidence-inspiring. Did a mixed scramble-and-hike loop yesterday and my feet felt planted the whole way.

I’ve worn these on three technical approaches now and the leather upper broke in perfectly without any hotspots. The sole’s stability on uneven granite slabs gave me total confidence on a route I’d normally bail on.

The leather upper felt broken-in from the first hike and the grip on wet granite was exactly what I needed for the technical sections. They’ve handled everything from loose scree to a few easy boulder problems without a hint of slipping.
