The low-cut design is noticeably lighter than my old boots, yet the grip on loose gravel felt just as secure. Did a solid 10-mile loop right out of the box with zero hotspots.

I was a little worried the low-cut design wouldn’t offer enough support, but the grip on wet rocks was fantastic and they felt surprisingly stable on uneven ground. They also dried out fast after a stream crossing, which was a nice bonus.

Took these out for a 10-mile rocky trail day and my feet felt fresh at the end—the Gore-Tex lining kept them dry through a surprise creek crossing. The low-cut design is noticeably lighter than my old mid boots without sacrificing any stability on uneven ground.
