The low weight surprised me—it felt more like a hiking shoe on the approach, but the stiff sole gave solid edging on steep snow. Used them for a technical alpine route and my feet stayed dry through multiple stream crossings.

Climbing up icy couloirs felt secure thanks to the precise fit of the low-cut design—my ankle mobility was a game-changer on technical steps. The weight difference from my old boots was immediately noticeable by the second pitch.

Took these up Mont Blanc and the grip on ice was incredible—the Vibram sole really digs in. They’re so light I forgot I was wearing mountaineering boots. Perfect for technical routes where every gram counts.
