The Pertex® Quantum fabric handled a light drizzle without wetting out, which was a pleasant surprise for such a lightweight piece. The Polartec® Po insulation kept me warm during a chilly morning summit push without restricting my arm movement.

I’ve taken this jacket up two alpine starts now, and the Polartec® insulation keeps me warm without any bulk when I’m reaching for holds. The Pertex® shell sheds light spindrift well, and the freedom of movement is noticeably better than my old hardshell.

The Pertex® fabric feels surprisingly durable for such a lightweight jacket, and it packs down small enough to stuff in my climbing pack without any bulk. I wore it on a chilly alpine start last weekend and stayed warm while scrambling without any restriction in my shoulders.
