I was worried the tensioned slingshot rand would feel too aggressive, but on overhanging routes it just locks my toes in place. Edging on vertical faces feels precise too.

These are my third pair and they still edge wonderfully on tiny slab footholds. The tensioned slingshot rand keeps my heel locked in on steep overhangs, though I do size up half a size from my street shoe.

I've been climbing in these for about six months and the tensioned slingshot rand really does keep my foot locked in on overhanging routes. Toe hooks feel almost automatic now thanks to how stiff the edge is. Sizing runs snug, so trust the break-in period.
