Trango Tech Leather GTX Women's

I was a little worried these would feel heavy for scrambling, but the nubuck leather is surprisingly lightweight. They offered solid ankle support all day on a rocky ridge traverse. My feet stayed completely dry through a creek crossing and several wet meadows.

The waterproofing held up perfectly through a sudden downpour on a rocky ridge, and I appreciated how light they felt compared to my old boots. They gave me the ankle support I needed for scrambling without feeling like concrete blocks.

Took these on a three-day backpacking trip with a stream crossing, and my feet stayed completely dry thanks to the Gore-Tex lining. They're noticeably lighter than my old boots, which made the miles fly by.
